WHAT IS SHANTI JEWEL'S RETURN AND REFUND POLICY?

CAN I RETURN A SPECIAL ORDERED ITEM?

Custom designed merchandise, class rings, special ordered watches and items engraved with personalized information cannot be returned or exchanged. Please see our return/exchange policy.

Online Orders
AM I ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY JARED.COM ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

Once an order has been submitted and you receive an order confirmation, you will not have the ability to make changes to that order. If you go to the Order Status page and use the "Modify" button (if available), your order will be canceled and you can place the order again with any necessary changes. If the "Modify" button is not available in the Order Status, the order has been transmitted to our fulfillment center and is no longer able to be modified.

Note: Canceling an order or modifying an order may result in a pending hold on your bank-issued credit card or Jared account. These holds will typically be released in 2-5 business days and may impact the amount you have available to purchase.

The merchandise from a canceled or modified order may not be available for immediate re-purchase.

DO I HAVE THE ABILITY TO CANCEL MY JARED.COM ORDER?

Orders may be canceled up to approximately one hour after they are placed through the Order Status page on jared.com. If the option to cancel an order is not shown in the Order Status, the order has been transmitted to our fulfillment center and is no longer able to be canceled.

Yes, we are able to ship orders worldwide. Shipping charge for some countries will be charged.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE A RING ONLINE?

Yes. Using our Design-a-Ring feature, you can choose a diamond and a setting online and see how your completed ring will look. We put thousands of diamonds and hundreds of settings at your fingertips. Once you've found "the one," our expert craftsmen will place your diamond in the setting you've chosen and send the completed ring on its way to you.

HOW DO I KNOW A CUSTOM JEWELRY PIECE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

If you've searched jewelry stores and websites and still haven't found exactly what you're looking for, custom jewelry is an option to consider. Custom pieces are unlike any other and the design is used only once - what you create is truly original and unique to you (or someone special!). Your piece can also be the restoration or reimagining of a beloved family heirloom.

WHAT ARE SOME WAYS I CAN CUSTOMIZE JEWELRY?

Customization includes the jewelry type (ring, pendant, bracelet, etc.), the metal, diamonds or gemstones and the overall design of the piece.

CAN I INCORPORATE EXISTING JEWELRY IN MY CUSTOM DESIGN?

Yes! Custom design is a great way to refresh jewelry and heirloom items. Consider a redesign like resetting a treasured family diamond into an engagement ring, or shortening a necklace into a bracelet accompanied by jewels from another piece.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE APPROPRIATE TO BRING WITH ME TO BEGIN THE CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS?

Bring any inspiration you think would best describe your vision with us. This may include your own sketches, pictures from the internet, elements of other Jared pieces you like (such as a split shank, chain length and style, cuff versus bolo bracelet style, etc.), metal type and ideal diamonds or gemstones. Don't forget to share your budget and timeline!

WHAT'S THE TIMELINE ON CUSTOM JEWELRY?

Custom jewelry usually takes about eight to ten weeks. The design process will fluctuate depending on how intricate the design is and the changes necessary to get the piece just right.

WHAT'S THE AVERAGE PRICE OF A CUSTOM PIECE?

Customized jewelry can cost as little or as much as you like. Consider the prices of metal used, diamonds and/or gemstones and the intricacies of the design.

Loose Diamonds
WHAT ARE LOOSE DIAMONDS?

A loose diamond is a polished diamond that hasn't been mounted into a piece of jewelry or setting.

HOW MUCH DO LOOSE DIAMONDS COST?

In addition to their current market value, loose diamond pricing varies according to their cut, color, clarity and carat weight. For more information about the 4C's, click here.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY LOOSE DIAMOND?

No need to worry about cleaning your loose diamond right now. Jared's Diamond Specialists don't recommend cleaning loose diamonds unless they've been set and worn. Loose diamonds are delivered in pristine condition and shouldn't need cleaning -- any cleaning before being set could damage the stone.

WHY DO YOU MEASURE JEWELRY IN MILLIMETERS?

The millimeter is our standard unit of measurement for jewelry dimensions. By using millimeters, we can provide you with the most accurate height, width and length for your jewelry. To give you a better idea of your jewelry's dimensions:

25MM is approximately 1 inch

3MM is approximately 1/8 inch

6MM is approximately 1/4 inch

13MM is approximately 1/2 inch

19MM is approximately 3/4 inch

25MM is approximately 1 inch

50MM is approximately 2 inches

75MM is approximately 3 inches

DO ALL RINGS COME IN THE SAME SIZE OR ARE THERE DIFFERENT SIZES AVAILABLE?

All of our rings are sized to what has been determined is an average finger size. When you purchase a ring on jared.com, you will be shown the size (or sizes) in which the ring is available. If your finger is a different size, we can adjust the ring. Learn more about ring sizing.

WHAT DETERMINES THE PRICE OF A DIAMOND?

A diamond's value is determined by its carat weight, color, cut and clarity. For further information about diamonds please refer to the 4Cs Diamond Guide.

WHAT DETERMINES THE PRICE OF A SETTING FEE?

A setting fee is assessed based on the size of the diamond and the metal type used to secure the diamond in the mounting.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHITE GOLD AND PLATINUM?

White gold is pure gold that is mixed with alloys to give it a white color. Platinum is pure metal that is naturally white and much more durable and stronger than white gold.

WHAT COLORED GEMSTONES ARE CONSIDERED PRECIOUS?

Rubies, sapphires and emeralds are precious gemstones. All other gemstones are referred to as semi-precious.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL AND LAB-CREATED STONES?

Lab-created stones are formed in a controlled environment whereas natural gemstones are formed by mother nature's natural processes. Both share the same physical, chemical and visual properties. The lab produced stone is usually free from major defects and can be structurally stronger than its natural counterpart while also achieving optimum color.

What is your Money Back Policy?

Our 30-day No Questions asked Money Back Policy gives you time to make sure your purchase is perfect. If you need to return it for any reason, we'll happily provide you with a full refund or exchange, within 30 days of the date of delivery. Yes, it's that simple. We can only accept the product without custom engraving, in its original condition and with the certification.

This is, however, applicable for orders within India only.

Will you withhold some shipping charges when I return the product within 30 days?

No. When we said, we'll return the money you paid in full, we meant it.

Will I have to pay for shipping the product back to you?

We offer FREE Return Shipping. You'll receive complimentary return shipping on all resizing, exchanges, or refunds for all products within the 30-day money back policy.

This is, however, applicable for orders within India only.

How do I return the product to Shanti Jewel within 30days?
  1. Select the item in your order that you want to return from here
  2. Ready your jewellery in the original packing material along with the certificate.
    1. If the product value is less than Rs. 35,000, then please hand over the product to the person coming for pickup
    2. If the product value is Rs. 35,000 or above and a Shanti Jewel employee is picking the product, then please hand over the product to the person coming for pickup
    3. If the product value is Rs. 35,000 or above and if the return pickup has been arranged via one of our 3rd party logistics partners; first you will receive a tamper-proof packet from us. Please secure your jewellery in it and seal it before the pickup person arrives at your doorstep. Once sealed, the packet cannot be opened unless destroyed. We will arrange for the pickup once you have received the tamper-proof packet. On the date when the pickup is scheduled, please hand over the packet with the product to the person.
  3. Please collect an acknowledgement (pickup receipt on paper/ photo of tracking number/ SMS confirmation of pickup)
  4. Once we receive the product at our warehouse, your refund will be processed to your BlueStone account in 2-3 working days after a quality check.

How should I place an order online?

Please follow these simple steps:

  1. Select your piece of Jewelry and 'Add to your Shopping Bag'.
  2. Click on 'Secure Checkout' if you have finalized your order, else 'Continue Shopping'.
  3. Enter your Email Address and Name on the Secure Checkout Screen and proceed for Billing and Shipping.
  4. Enter your shipping details and continue to the Payment Options.
  5. Select your Mode of Payment and Place the order.
  6. You will receive an order confirmation email to the e-mail you provided while placing your order.
  7. Can I order by phone?

    How do I make a payment for a BlueStone purchase?

    BlueStone offers multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Card & Debit Card, Net Banking and cash on delivery.

    All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. BlueStone and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

    Are there any hidden costs?

    There are no hidden costs or additional shipping charges. The total price mentioned on the product page next to the photograph is the final price. What you see is what you pay.

    Are prices on BlueStone.com subject to change?

    Prices on BlueStone.com are subject to change without notice. Please expect to be charged the price for the BlueStone merchandise you buy as it is listed on the day of purchase

    How do I pay using a Credit/Debit card and is it safe?

    We accept VISA and Master Card (Indian cards only). You will need to key in your 16-digit Credit/Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found on the back of the card) and complete the payment flow.

    How long will it take to get refunds, if any?

    The refunded amount will be directly credited to your bank account after we receive your jewellery. Please mail or call our customer delight team with your bank account and IFSC code which can be found printed on your cheque book.

    After Purchase Questions
    Do you match prices if an item I purchased goes down in price later?

    All sales prices are final and BlueStone does not price match. All our pricing is calculated using current precious metal and gem prices to give you the best possible value. These prices do change from time to time and our prices do too.

    What happens if the ring I bought doesn't fit?

    We offer complimentary ring resizing within 30 days from shipping date. If the design doesn't permit resizing, we will replace the ring free of cost with a new ring of the new size. Beyond 30 days from date of shipping, if the design permits, we can resize the ring for a small charge. This is applicable for orders within India only.

    What if there is a problem with my purchase?

    If there are any problems with the quality of the workmanship of your piece we'll repair it free of charge and pay the shipping too. If you damage a piece, we'll repair it for you for a very reasonable fee plus shipping: we want you to enjoy your piece, not have it sitting in a box! If you are still not satisfied with product, you can return the product to us within 30 days, we have a 30-day No questions asked Money Back Policy. This is applicable for orders within India only.

    Can I take a ring to my local jeweler to have it resized?

    Of course, but we don't recommend it. We can't accept returns of items that have been modified by someone else. Having someone else work on a piece also voids the 30 day money back and lifetime exchange policy, because these kinds of modifications, when done incorrectly, can damage the gems or the strength of the setting.

    Gift card

    What are terms and conditions of BlueStone Gift Card programme?

    • Valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
    • Any balance amount left in a used gift card can be reused within the validity period.
    • Upto 3 gift cards can be used in single transaction.
    • Gift card brought on the website is valid for all products available on www.bluestone.com.
    • To redeem this gift card on www.bluestone.com, please use the Gift Card option on the payment page and enter the above card number and card pin while placing the order. Any balance amount left on the used gift card can be reused within the validity period.
    • For return of products purchased using gift cards, the money returned will be credited in form of Bluecredits to the customer.
    • BlueStone is not responsible if the gift card is lost, stolen or used without permission.
    • The gift cards cannot be replaced, refunded or exchanged for cash.
    • BlueStone is the final authority on the interpretation of these rules. Products and services are subject to availability.
